Fishing romex to island under subfloor

I'm in a 3 story garden style condo and am opening up my kitchen by replacing the two interior walls with an island. Unfortunately, the electrical for that wall comes from the ceiling instead of the floor, so there is no built in way to run power to the island.

I am on the top floor so I have access to the attic space above my condo. So my question is... can I run the power from the wall in the kitchen and fish it under the subfloor to the island?

I'm not asking if its physically possible, I already know it is. I wonder if there are any code issues with this approach since the Romex will be unsecured under the subfloor for four feet or so.

Thanks!

Ryan

No problem. Have done the exact same thing many times. Just have any splices accessible and in proper boxes, and use correct size wire for the breaker size.
