figure out electric costs


Greetings
Trying to get a handle on electricity costs here in NYC--was wondering if there is a device i can purchase and use at the outlet site of my electrical appliances that will tell me the electric draw of the device and from that figure out my monthly cost for operating those appliances---

Yes, there's a device called kill-a-watt and one thats named watts-up.
