Fiberglass in ceiling lights. Alternative????? Is there an alternative to that inch or so of fiberglass that I find in ceiling light fixtures?I have problems with the stuff, and I always seem to end up having to touch it in one way or another. If I could just carefully strip it out of the thing and replace it with some kind of high-temp (coded) foam, it would be wonderful. Am I the only one who hates the stuff? Particularly the old FG in the older fixtures. Over time the heat of the light seems to cause so much of it to become unbound that there is often the inevitable shower of itchiness. |
