Female needing simple electrical advice

I am in the process of changing light fixtures in bathroom. I have turned off the power for the master bath at the circuit breaker and have taken the old fixture off the wall. The wires are bare and I want to turn the power back on to get light back into my master bedroom. Is it ok to turn the power back on temporarily if the wires are clear from touching each other and anything else?

Thanks-
Novice Electrician

No, no, no!

If it's only going to be temporary until you put the new fixture in you can put the wire nuts back on them for now. Don't leave them uncovered.

Just put wirenuts on the individual conductors
If you feel like being REALLY secure, get a blank plate
