Fastening Romex between 2x4 and basement wall
Hi. So I'm finishing a basement and the new framing is about 3 inches off the basement foundation wall. I'd like to avoid drilling our the studs and run the romex behind, but then how do I fasten it neatly? Any suggestions? Thanks, Dino

Staple to the back sides of the studs.

Drilling would be my preference. You could also use cable ties.

Thanks for the quick responses... I don't have the room to hammer staples behind the studs. I likely will drill, though like the cable ties idea.

Drill every 3rd stud. That will be enough for support.
