Extension Cord Question.
Ok we bought a Spa and it runs on a 110-20 amp circuit. I only have 15 amp breakers for the out side plugs. There are GFIíS on 20 amp outlets in the kitchen. Here is the question.

I do have a 110-20 amp outlet dedicated for the small welder, but it is in the garage. It is possible to run an extension cord rated for 20 amps 40+ feet to the spa?
This is just a temp fix until next week. I have a friend that is going to run me a 110 and a 220 outlet to the backyard. I just donít want to burn down the house if I run the extension cord that far.

Thanks Nate

A GOOD quality 50' 12ga extension cord will work fine as a temp fix. 10ga would be better.
