Extending extension lead

Hi all, I need a little advice regarding an extension lead.
It's an 8 gang lead that currently has 2mtr lead on it. I need to rewire it with an 8mtr lead and I'm not sure what size cable to use. I was going to use a 1.5mm heat resistant cable but it said it was for heaters only, is that right or can I use this one? It is for my sons bedroom and will be used with a computer, printer, phone charger etc.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks in advance
Gary

What is the wattage of the device?

A cable labeled "for heaters only" may be used for other purposes except not for hot and neutral of 120 volt circuits if there is no white conductor.
