Exposed Romex Questions

I understand Romex (NM) can be used inside wall cavities, etc. and can be exposed in the crawl attic area. My electrical box is inside the garage which also has a partial dummy ceiling which is used for small storage. Can I run the Romex from the attic into the garage ceiling and down the stud of the un-drywalled wall to the breaker box (behind the water heater which is next to the box)? Can the Romex be visible in the garage?

Thanks.

Exposed Romex Questions

Since your on the west cost --- who know's! Ok just kidding...in our area it's acceptable, if in doubt call you local building inspectors and inquire with them...all you gotta do is ask.
