existing junction box mounted on ceiling


Can I install a light fixture on that junction box?

junction box, in the porch between 2 front doors, connected to outdoor light

existing junction box mounted on ceiling


if there are 2 front door does this mean its a duplex or a 2 family house? do you know if the box is connected to your meter if it is a double house or duplex? how would you switch the light? need pictures or it's just a picture in my head that may not be correct,
