Electronic Timer

I have a Paragon EL71/120 timer that I would like to install to shut my pool timer on and off. There are eight terminals on it. If my logic is correct, the timer needs to be in line between the breaker and pump. I am installing in the basement to keep it from the elements.

Should I wire the breaker to the timer and the timer to pool? If so, where and what wires go on each terminal?

Electronic Timer

Power in on 4(hot) and 5(neutral)
Jumper between 4 & 1 and/or 4 & 6.

Pump out on 2 & 5 or 7 & 5.

This is if everything is 120 volts AND the pump is 1 HP or less.
