electrical wiring


is there a code of where you can put an electrical plug (new) how far from a corner, window etc....

MAXIMUM distance between outlets is 12ft.
Don't believe there is a minimum.
From a door way,6 ft maximum.

electrical wiring


There are a certain amount of receptacles required to be installed. Once those have been installed you can install receptacles almost anywhere you want. In a bathtub would not be permitted as one bad example, but floors, ceilings or any place on a wall at any angle you like are permitted.
