electrical wire box of chandelier is getting hot

Hi,

I just installed my chandelier without any issue, but I noticed that the wire box is getting hot to the touch, even when the lights are off

Should I be concerned

Thanks

Anne

electrical wire box of chandelier is getting hot

Where is the wire box mounted in relation to the light ?
Is it a metal wire box ?
Could the accumulated heat from the light be dissipated
by the box ?
Or is the box still hot /warm even if the light has not
been on for some considerable time ?

Is the box exposed to heat from an attic space above?

Is the light the only thing powered by the wiring in the box?
