Electrical Sub Panel Grounding

This is a 1960 addition built on a 1947 house. I have three #6 wires in a greenfield feeding a subpanel, a black, a red and a white. Is this alone proper grounding? Everything in the sub panel is BX.

Electrical Sub Panel Grounding

I just went to the panel, I may have been incorrect, it could be 6-3 BX wire in the panel.

Electrical Sub Panel Grounding

If you have 6-3 then you're all good for a new panel. Like I said before, just make sure you keep the neutral unbonded from the panel case and use a separate bar for the grounds.

If you really have flexible metal conduit and no separate ground, you must refeed the subpanel with 4 wires ( 2 phase conductors, a neutral, and a ground). The above mentioned bonding rules apply here too.
