Got a bad socket in bathroom changed the socket reset breakers still no power. The socket is hot the small jolt I got messing around with it says so. I'm at a loss. Help.

There may be a loose neutral connection. That loose connection could be at another socket (receptacle) or in a switch box on the way (on a daisy chain) back to the breaker panel.

If the neutral has a loose connection, you can still get a shock if you touch both the hot wire or terminal and a grounded object.

I use sockets for securing/unsecuring nuts & bolts. How did you get shocked by a socket?:laughing::laughing:

But follow Allans advice. That is most likely your issue.
