electrical panel

Remember safety. Make sure your breakers you are installing are in the off position and turn off the main breaker to kill power the bus bars where your breakers attach to the bus stabs. The large lugs where the service entrance wires are terminated to the main breaker will remain 'hot' or energized so stay clear of them when routing your wiring to the circuit breakers and neutral bars. Once your finished then reenergize your panel and turn on the necessary circuit breakers once the panel cover is reinstalled.
