how do i convert a wall outlet to not be controlled by a switch

simplest way,turn off power to ckt.remove sw from box,wire nut the two wires that are on the switch together.in case you want to use the switch again,mark the wires.you can get a blank cover or just leave switch in box.

be aware though that often times it is a code requirement to have a switched outlet. Bypassing the switch would cause the installation to be a code violation.
