I have an outdoor non GFCI (protected before this outlet in the circuit) outlet. It has 2 black/2white and ground wires, I want to add an outlet farther doown the house from this outlet so there will be 3 blacks/3whites and ground. What is the best way to hook these wores up/ Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. I read it as non-GFI protected, not non-GFI (protected upstream).

As long as it is wired from the LOAD terminals of the GFI it would be fine.

It is my understanding that only one wire per each screw on the outlet is allowed. I have seen on another site where the wiring was to pigtail all 3 wires and then only attach the one pigtail to the outlet. Grounding i understand. Is it OK to pigtail from outlet to 2 of the wires (ie 2 black, 2 white) and put the other (1 black, 1 white) directly on the other screws on the outlet?

Thanks for your help
