Electrical circuits in 'wet room' bath

I am working on designing an accessible bath in my basement, set up as a 'wet room' (tile everywhere, sloping floor to open shower in corner). What are the unique NEC electrical considerations, specifically with regards to outlets (as I suppose shower lights and a switch exterior to the room will suffice). The only 'wet room' stuff Google shows me is about the UK and Plan P, etc.

Thanks!

well, any devices or appliances installed in the room would have to be rated for wet conditions and depending where they are, maybe even waterproof.

No permanent electrical appliances, just need lighting and the code required outlet. Just curious how to handle that with an open air shower.

The roll in shower I have seen still had sidewalls and a shower curtain to contain the spray.

I did not wire this any differently than any other bathroom.

Thanks, that's good to know, I'll press forward with a logical design.

There are several good threads over in Contractor talk--Kitchen and Bath--

The forum is for contractors only, but you can look and read. Roll in showers are a frequent topic.
