Electrical - breaker

The breaker kicks when I put on the element & oven of the kitchen stove. It is a 40 breaker. What could cause the breaker to kick? Thanks!

Something wrong with the oven!
Have you used them together before without any problems?

Electrical - breaker

If this combo has worked fine before, then it is a shorted element or wire touching the frame somewhere.

Electrical - breaker

Is it just a standard circuit breaker ?
Or is it a GFCI ?

Do both of the elements work fine, when on there own ?
