Electrical bathroom vanity light fixture

I recently purchased a new vanity light fixture to put up in my master bathroom. the problem I am having is that the curcuit breaker keeps tripping when I turn the bathroom light on....
I have one yellow wire and two white that are from the wall.... and two white wires and two black wires that are on the new vanity light fixture, and the ground wire is attached to the light fixture ...
I attached the white fixture wires to the white wall wires, and the black fixture wires to the yellow wall wire, and the ground to the ground screw to the light fixture ... Did I wire this wrong and if so how should it be wired..

How was the old fixture wired? It sounds correct. Does it trip as soon as you turn on the breaker or when you turn on the switch?

Yes the old fixture was wired exactly the same... And yes as soon as you flip the light switch the the lights pop and the power is then tripped in the curcuit pannel

Sounds like a wire shorted or pinched in a clamp to short to ground.

Just to try:
On wires from light fixture: Attach only 1 black (to yellow from wall) and paired 1 white to white from wall. If trips, try other black/white from fixture. If works ok with one light, the other has a short.
