Hi, where is the timer and how is it mounted?

kwessan 07-11-2012 01:12 PM

The timer is located in the garage and is mounted on the wall with on and off switch.

So it is next to an on and off switch? or you can turn the timer on and off with the switch?

I get the distinct feeling this person shouldn't attempt their own electrical work.

Hi copperclad,
The on and off switch comes with the timer in other words i can manually shut it off.

kwessan 07-11-2012 01:32 PM

The timer has a manual on/off lever.Hope this helps.

CopperClad 07-11-2012 01:34 PM

okay. If you have an on/off switch to the timer... Then all you need to do is take down the old lights and put up the motion detector lights and leave the switch on. (of course with the breaker off while you're doing this)

Thats funny.

Thanks very much i will try it out.

I wouldn't take any advice from me. I'm no electrician. I just like to say what I think and then the real electricians correct me. :)
