Electric Outlet


How high should I mount our electrical outlet? We'll have 34" cabinet w/granite counter top and a backsplash.

I mount them at 44" to the bottom of the box.

Wall cabinets above - how high?
Make sure they will be above the granite back splash

I'd have them at least 2-3 inches above the backsplash
There is a MAX height you can have kitchen small appliance circuits over the counter
I think it is 18" Max ??

Put a face plate up & see what looks good

It's actually no more than 20" above the countertop to comply with 210.52.
