electric motor wiring


anyone know how to wire a 3 position switch to a 110v electric motor so I can control forward and reverse

Start with what the motor says.
Which leads are reversed when switched between F and R?
Which lead are these two switched with?

electric motor wiring


I know the orientation of the 4 wires 2 wires per strand...a black and a blue on each..if I wire it up with one strand black and blue to a hot and the other to black and blue it that strand to the neutral it will run forward..if I take one black wire from the opposite strand and connect it to the blue wire in the other strand and wire them up to hot and the other 2 to the neutral it will run in reverse..just don't undersand how to wire the motor to the six connection 3 position switch...hope that explained something...
