Electric Baseboard Wiring Question

Hi,

I'm finishing my basment and I'm wring electric baseboard heat. I will have a 8ft 2000Watt heater in 2 rooms, each room will have a thermostate.

Can I wire these in parallel so I can save a breaker space? Or do I need to have 2 fuses?

Thanks,

I'm assuming this is a 240 volt heater? You will need at least two spaces in your panel regardless.

If it's 240 volts, and you want to put them on the same circuit, you'll need a 30 amp, 2 pole circuit with 10/2 wire.
