Easy for pros

I have an older house (74) the light switch in our bedroom runs a outlet and it is in a terrible place for a lamp. My wife wants an over head light or ceiling fan. what I coming into and leaving the box. One wire from the top of the box which is the hot wire coming from the attic. the whites/neutrals are all tied together, the black from the top is running into a wire nut with one wire coming out and goinf to the switch and another wire tied into it as well. So the one romex coming from the top, two leving the box in the bottom, one of course going to the outlet, the other going to power outlets in the next room I am guessing? What is the easiest way to run a wire for my light in the attic. Can I pig tail all of that off that on hot wire and just add another switch? I hope this makes sense.

You can do that if you wish or you can convert the switch to control the light instead of the receptacle.
