Dusk/Dawn Problem
My 20yo dusk2dawn light went out several days ago. Replaced mercury vapor bulb in it....after turning on the switch it started to light but then went out....called D2D company....was told by a technician that it could be the ballast...bought a new unit with a sodium bulb...after doing the electric connection, the light came on for 4 or 5 nights....was on tonight when we left....when we came home it was out...light is on a 15ft pole in yard...electrical wire is buried under ground, approx 35-40ft from house...never had a problem with this set-up before. Any suggestions would be appreciated....at a total loss right now.
