Dusk to Dawn light permanently on

I have a dusk to dawn light. After a brief power cut it now remains on all of the time. Even if i switch it off at the switch!! Only way it goes off is if I flip the fuse on the fuseboard. Any ideas?

If this is a new problem and you have not been playing with the wiring, I'd start with checking the switch to see if it's making and breaking. Then move onto the sensor.
100% sure it's not on a 3 way switch?

Normal operation for those sensor is to switch it on and the sensor operates. Switch it off and on again rapidly and the light stays on until switched off again. That is what happened with the power blink. The Sensor needs to be switched off for 10 seconds to reset it.
If the switch doesn't work then the switch is defective if worked in the past. If it never worked in the past then the switch is wired wrong.

Is this a dusk to dawn (photo eye) or a motion sensor ?
If dusk to dawn, those switch flipping instructions do not apply.

The light should shut off when the switch is turned off. If not, you have a defective switch, or a wiring problem.

Is this the switch on the unit or a wall switch? If a wall switch, chances are a faulty switch.
