THe dumb way.
Yep I did it. I automaticly thought the stove was busted. One of those electronic glasstops ones. Anyway it was a bad pole a the box. Oh next time I will pull out a multimeter. Only cost me 25 dollar to tell me my stove was working just fine though. :o

Lucky you! Most appliance guys here are getting $70 just to show up. LOL

I brought it to him. I was ready to give away a nice stove. lol It was a long day that day I went to a used appliance store to trade it in with a stand alone dishwasher. Over the phone the joker told me he would take the applainces straight across for a stove. Man used appliance guys are worse than used car salesmen.
Took it to a good ole boy who did me right considering I was ready to junk it.
I called them today and ask them if they wanted my old washer and dryer. They said "For twenty dollars they would take them". I was like sure but the dump is along the way and they take appliances or scrap metal for free. LOL Sheisty used appliance guys

I took my last washer to the curb and put a big "FREE" sign on it on yard sale day. It was gone within two hours.

Justa, people like you amaze me. How much money could you have made in the time frame that it took you to remove the appliance, have it repaired and reinstall it? I'd be halfway to a Viking professional gas unit.
Consider your time.
