Dumb question... what size screws for mounting a panel?
 

I know this is probably a dumb question. Any rules or best practices about what size screws to mount my new panels with? I've got new 42 space and 8 space CH panels to be mounted onto plywood backer boards. The instructions just specify "installer-supplied fasteners".

I normally use 10x 3/4 or 10x1 sheet metal screws. Depends on the thickness of the plywood.

i also like to use a fender washer with each screw

Most case I use #12X3/4 inch sheetmetal screws and yeah make sure you get fender washer as well that will lock the box in place.
