Dual Dimmer Switch Headache!
I recently replaced a kitchen light fitting (4 bulb halogen spotlight bar) in my sisters house with a 4 bulb halogen spotlight plate with 8 LED's surrounding the centre bulbs. (I will call this Light A)
All went fine until we noticed that the LED's were all on but two emitted more intense light than the other six, I put this down to the fact the switch was a dimmer as opposed to a normal toggle switch.
I decided to change out the switch, and being in a hurry, did not label the wires!!! (stupid mistake!) The second light fitting was working fine before and after this. (I will call this Light B)
The old switch did not rectify the problem and trying to reconnect the dimmer switch has not went well.
I have two cables going into the switch box, each containing two red wires. Each dimmer switch has three connectors, labelled "C", "L1" and "L2".
I have exhausted the different number of ways I have tried to connect these, I must have done every way but the right way apparently!
In frustration I tried to hard connect the lights using a simple junction box, to make both lights stay on all the time, and this has not worked either.
Not sure if the above is clear so trying to simplify with a diagram.

= ++++= Wires 1 and 2 come from one cable, 3 and 4 from

If I connect wire 3 with either wire 1 or wire 2, the new fitting works well (Light A), but the second light that the unit controls does not work at all, (Light B).
If I connect wires 3 and 4 together, Light A does not work at all, and Light B flashes on and off.
Any other variation of connections do not appear to have any effect, any ideas/help/suggestions?

Do LED's work with dimmers?
Does light B flash on and off at a regular interval, or random?
Can you post the model of the dimmer switch you are trying to connect?
If you measure each of the red wires to ground (hopefully you have a ground in the box), what do you get?
Use a voltmeter, and be extremely careful if you are working with live circuit!
