dryer element

is there anyway to repair an element that has burnt into? i know it is nichrome wire, & it turns red when heated. just hoped it was a way to repair temporairly to i got a new element. THANKS!

dryer element

I stuck the 2 ends (one end into each end ) into ground wire crimp sleeve and crimped it . It worked for a week until I got the replacement element. Kind of wish I had saved the $55 and left it.

thanks RJ, thought that might work, it will get me by until i can get a new one. this one is less than $20.THANKS AGAIN !
