Yes, each major appliance you buy will come with a set of installation instructions, the building codes specifically "incorporate" the manufacturer's installation requirements for each appliance, and the installer is supposed to leave a copy - my first mistake was assuming you had received it.
Oh No! I took it at face value, and you did me a favor by reminding me that we often seek complication when simplicity is right in front of us. I'll speak for myself anyway, for example I may frantically run around looking for my keys only to find them in my purse, where they belong! Especially with DIY, I look around to see what's going wrong when everything is flowing seamlessly!

It never crossed my mind to look in the manual however counterintuitive that sounds now. Apology not accepted as none was necessary! You were HELPING ME, I;m receiving the favor and I thank you!
