DR chandelier wiring

Voltage meter shows hot wires when tested. After hooking up chandelier, no light and voltage meter shows NO 110-120. I switch the connections... same deal. I have ground wire screwed to junction box. I tested chandelier before hanging and did get it to light. Thanks for any help. getting frustrated Steve

DR chandelier wiring

Did you say that the 120-120 comes back when you unhook the wires for the purpose of switching the connections? (And goes away again when you finish switching the connections?)

If you jiggle the wires does th light come on? Could be a broken wires inside the insulation.

Be sure you measure between hot and neutral, not hot and ground.
