Double pole breaker v/s single pole breaker


Does a double pole 20 amp breaker have 20 amps at each terminal or 10 amps?

Double pole breaker v/s single pole breaker


20 amps at each terminal. However, if one leg pulls more than 20 amps, it will trip both breakers.
