It Is Done

Well over the weekend I finished up my garage/workshop. I went with #3 along w/#8 instead of the 2-2-4-6 for my main run. Installed 4 circuits all gfi protected. Not many I know but works for me.

The 27ft run with the 3 #3's and the one #8 kicked my Azz let me tell you. I don't know how all you do that work everyday. I didn't think I was gonna EVER get those wires to do what I wanted. Hats off to you guys!!!!

Everything is up and running, GFi's seem to be tripping good, and my little light tester shows no problems at the receptacles.

Are there any more tests to make sure all this is correct besides the plug in tester with the 3 lights on it?

Just wanted to thanks ALL you guys,Stubbie, jrclen, speedy petey, 220/221, cow and alll the others I forgot to mention for ALLL the help and advice with this matter over the last few months. So far everything is A-OK!!

Mike R.

Check voltage and trip the GFI's. If everything checks out, job well done!

hey cow I tripped the GFI with the test button ON the gfi as well as the test button on the small 3 light tester I bought and it tripped just like it is supposed to, so I think im good to go there.

I will get out my meter and check my voltage at the outlets tonight when I get home.

Should I check ALL of them or just the ones at the end of each run?
