Do all outlets in kitchen need to be GFCI protected?

Our kitchen is laid out in a way that we have about 7' of countertop across from the kitchen sink, so no water by it. Do the outlets above this counter have to be GFCI protected also? Thanks

ALL kitchen counter receptacles require GFI protection.
