dimmer-aluminum ground along with existing copper ground.

Just installed two dimmers side by side in a double wall box. They work fine. Each dimmer has a ground wire. I want to wind both ground wires (aluminum) around one screw located on the left side of a metal plate at the back of the wall box. The wall box already has a copper ground wire wound around a screw on the right side of the same metal plate at the back of the wall box. I don't think this would be a problem but want to be sure.
By the way I have other copper to aluminum wires marrited with the correct connectors. I just want to know about the ground wires. Thanks.

The wire from the dimmer is not aluminum if the dimmers are new.

You can only put one wire under a screw. Join the 2 dimmer grounds to a short piece of copper and then attach the copper to the new ground screw.

You are confusing a tinned copper conductor with aluminum.

That ground wire that comes attached to the dimmer is copper, and can be safely wire-nutted to a copper pigtail from the box green screw.
