Different Load Baseboard Heaters in Parallel

I'm planning what baseboard heaters to buy for my 150 sq ft enclosed porch and have calculated the Wattage at 1500 Watts. Because of furniture layout, I'd prefer to install one 1000W and one 500W and have them controlled by a wall mounted 'double pole' thermostat wired in parallel (as in attached diagram).
Assuming 240V with a Honeywell TL7235 or similar thermostat.

Question: Is it safe to wire up two baseboard heaters with different wattage like this? Would the 500W heater get overloaded? Should I use two 750W heaters?

Was looking at the Cadet Softheat models.

I have never installed baseboard heat, so I can't help on the brands.

My new house has many Cadet baseboard heaters. There are five 20 amp circuits supplying them with power. Some are on wall thermostats, some with baseboard mounted thermostats and some with definite purpose 24v control relays. I have mixed wattage on the circuits.
Your diagram is fine and you can join the wires in the end of one unit. One unit will provide more heat but it won't be overloaded. They will both get 240 volts and circuit current will be the combination of the two heaters.
