Did I screw up? .....Under cabinet light installation. Don't want a fire hazard!

I can use romex, but any visible cable must be put in wiremold or the like. Sounds like total overkill, but........

Gonna start the tear out tomorrow & do things right.

Thanks to all for their most generous help!

I'll have to hook up the lights & make sure all is well before taping the sheetrock in. Used only the 15A circuit & tapped the power feeding the over the sink light. What a pain...... But, at least when all is said & done I'll know it was right.
One more thing-- Code here requires wiremold over exposed romex. I'll have to put some on the romex leading to/from each light, even though such is on he underside of the cabinets. Oh, well..... could be worse.

DO they really start that early in the Easton office? I can't get anyone from MDIA to answer the phone before 7:30! LOL (or are you dealing with someone else?)

I just started using MDIA for most of my work and the local guy's calling hour is 7-8am.

I like the fact that I can call the inspector-critter at 7:30 AM, and have the job inspected before lunch the same day!

Try that with gov't run municipal inspection offices!

I wish I could get a different electrical inspector here, somehow I managed to piss him off the last time he was out here. (find the thread Angry Electrical Inspector) Don't really intend on having any future work inspected. This inspector from what I understand covers a rather large area and is the only one I can call. Seems rather stupid I can't call someone else to sign off on the work.
