diagnosing arc fault problem

I have a 15 amp arc fault breaker at the main panel for my master bedroom lights and receptacles that keeps going off. I narrowed it down to a light switch that I have replaced and changed my light bulb. The breaker goes off when I try to turn the light on. Where do I check next?

diagnosing arc fault problem

If this started happening when you changed that switch you either have a short created when you wired the light or you have a neutral or hot wire touching the ground wire , metal box or each other. Check to make sure you don't have this situation. If it is in the switch box it is the switched hot wire, otherwise it could be any wire in the fixture box.
