Deep cycle battery charger with float mode

Hello
I am looking to install a battery backup sump pump in my basement
I've read that the Wayne ESP25 was a good model, but the included charger was crap
What charger with trickle/float mode would you recommend (a charger that will normally charge the battery but will switch to trickle mode when it's full)
And if I don't want to buy the whole kit, what 12V sump pump could I buy? or is it better to run a 120V pump off the battery with an DC/AC inverter?

I've had great luck with the Schumacher brand. Inexpensive and works well on my truck and motorcycles. Works as well as the more expensive Battery tender. One thing to check is compatibility with gell cells if that's the way you're going.

I was thinking about "Marine batteries"
But it can be confusing between the different type (Regular, AGM, Gell cell)
I was thinking to go take a look at Walmart to find this model

So what is the exact type?
At this price, I could put 2 in parallel to have extended run time

And I was thinking to buy this charger:

What do you think?

That one seems to be geared more toward charging, not maintenance. The float charger is meant to stay plugged in and this one works great for my large capacity F150 truck battery:

But it's going to depend on the work load, a small maintainer won't keep up if the battery is regularly being used. Why can't you run a 120v line to a pump?

I am looking at a backup when power is off
I do have a generator, but would like a back up IF power goes off during the night for example, or if my main pump were to have an issue (with or without power actually). So to summarize by priority order:
1) Battery operated sump pump backup in case of a power outage, especially during the night - even if the run time will only be 1 day with a fully charged battery, it will give some time to react
2) And with or without power outage, it will serve as a backup if my primary pump or sensor were to have problems

Even if I buy the Wayne ESP25, I will have to buy a battery and a charger since the one delivered with it is not great.....
I've read that AGM batteries are best (and safe), but they are expensive....
