Cutting Wires

Would it be possible to cut a wire at an angle over a length of 2-3''?

If so, what tool (if there is one out there) should I use?

Is there some sort of jig that does this already?

What size wire?
You could use a miter box and a hack saw, but the will be time consuming and will not produce the same results everytime.

What are you trying to do?

What are you trying to do? How thick is the wire?

Band saw.

The wire is going to need considerable thickness to allow the taper to be cut. Smaller conductors like a #12 it is not going to happen. You might be able to taper a 4/0.
