Question

Cost of electrical/plumbing for new single family home

I would like to obtain an estimate for the electrical and plumbing work needed for a new single family home, 2 story with garage/basement, 880 square feet (22 width X 40 depth) floor plan, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, living room, kitchen, dining room, deck, 2-car garage, and about 5 closets in Hellertown, Northampton County, PA. Public sewer and water is on the property, but needs to be connected from the property line to the house. The lot size is 50 X 110. The distance from the property line to the house from the public water and sewer connection is aproximately 30 feet. The 2.5 baths would include the following fixtures: 3 toilets, 1 double sink, a single sink, a pedestal sink, shower, and tub. The kitchen will have a double sink and dishwasher. All the bathrooms are on the right side of the property. Do electricians and plumbers base their earnings per hour or based on the size of the project? How many hours/days would it take an electrician and plumber to complete a project like this? The living area in this home would not exceed 1760 SF. Any recommendations/estimates would be much appreciated.

You would need to get local estimates on cost & time frames
These costs vary widely by area & project & time frame depends upon the crew they have

This site is geared towards DIY, not cost estimates
