Correct wire size?

Having a senior moment I purchased the wrong size wire for a electric floor heating wire. I have purchased #10 2 wground

I am using a WarmWire DFT 2215 which is a 240 volt unit:
Wire length is 876 ft
2576 w
10.7 a
21.6 ohms
curcuit length is 50 ft.

I am using a 20amp breaker.

I have already run the wire ... so there is no returning it... and I really do not want to pull it out.

My question: can I use the #10 in place of the #12 with the 20 amp breaker without doing any potential damage to the heater. I am to embarassed to ask my electrical friend. Please help.

The only problem will be connecting the wires, otherwise no issue.

Yes...upsizing the wire is no problem. You may want to tag it in the panel for future reference as to what it's connected to.

It is just that #10 is harder to work with than #12
