Converting a vanity light fixture.

I would like to convert a three light vanity fixture to a one light sconce. Lowe's and the manufacturer's website do not sell a matching sconce. I figured I could off the two end lights but what about the wiring? Do I cut and cap them? Don't worry I will ask my neighbor to help me.

Converting a vanity light fixture.

No, this breaks the ul rating big time. Thus making it a violation of the electrical code. I would NOT do this.
