Conversion from battery to wall pack

We have a new bowling game for my son
It takes (4) D batteries - 6v total
2 wires going to the battery pack

So I'm thinking I can just attach a converter for a plug & use a wall pack that provides 6v
Anything else I need to take into account ?

Seems like every game he has takes batteries

That should work if you can find a 6 V DC source that provides enough milliamps.

It needs to be 6volts DC. Not all wall warts are DC. The polarity needs to be correct. The mA needs to be high enough.
