condensation in bathroom fan

corbyway Newbie   Join Date: May 2011 Location: las vegas Posts: 5	condensation in bathroom fan I am going to install a bathroom fan in a cape cod style house I intend to use pvc pipe insulated to the roof vent,the attic has 3 feet of blown in insulation do I need to worry about the fan assy,or will the attic insulation do the job ,the house is in Virginia

gregzoll Average Joe/ex-Navy IC3     Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Midwest - Central Illinois Posts: 9,263	condensation in bathroom fan It should be piping with insulation, since all the PVC will do is condensate when the temp changes. 3 feet of insulation, that is kind of over kill for your neck of the woods. When was this home built?
