condensation in bathroom fan


I am going to install a bathroom fan in a cape cod style house I intend to use pvc pipe insulated to the roof vent,the attic has 3 feet of blown in insulation do I need to worry about the fan assy,or will the attic insulation do the job ,the house is in Virginia

condensation in bathroom fan


It should be piping with insulation, since all the PVC will do is condensate when the temp changes. 3 feet of insulation, that is kind of over kill for your neck of the woods. When was this home built?
