compact flourescent suggestions?

I'm currently in love with the GE Reveal lightbulbs because they seem to filter out the yellow light. I'm visually impaired and good, clean light is important for me. But, I'm really wanting to switch to a more energy-efficient form of lighting. My experience with CFL bulbs has been one of pretty dim, yellow light. Does anyone have suggestions on a brand/model I might try that would replicate light close to the Reveal sort? Thanks.

I'm using the GE daylight 6500k cfl's and they are pure white. Make sure they say 6500k on the package. Walmart usually has them in stock.

All you DIYers out there. Recycle your CFL's. They contain mercury.

CFL's take a few minutes to reach full brightness. Andy gave you good advice. CFL's come in different flavors. Pick white and bright.
I have CFL's in every fixture in my house. They take a little while to get used too. If your vision is bad like mine. Pick higher wattage CFL's. I think you can put a 100 watt CFL into a 60 watt max fixture as they do not get nearly as hot as incandesant and draw less watts/current?

And all you contractors out there: Recycle your rechargeable batteries. They contain mercury as well, not to mention lead and cadmium.
