Clamp/Grommet Needed?

Do I need some type of clamp or grommet where this wire goes into this box? This is above a drop ceiling in a basement.

Clamp/Grommet Needed?

Thanks, did I get the wrong box? Do they make plastic ceiling boxes that don't need that thing?

Along with the clamp, the gap around the box needs to be patched to no more than 1/8 inch.

There's lots of other boxes you could have used, some have the clamp built in others have a break away tab that lets you push the wire in but will not let you pull it out.
What is this box for? It does not look like a ceiling fan box if that's what your thinking.
Simplist way to fix that gap is with one of these.

I can tell by the mounting bracket in the box that he is installing one of those Commercial Electric LED disk lights.

One of those would look real snappy with that big a gap.

k_buz, you are the WINNER! I got these lights from Polar-Ray so they are not Commercial Electric brand but I believe they are the same light.

The light completely covers the hole so no trim ring needed. Or, is the hole supposed to be patched before the light is attached?
