charge a power chair

I have a used Nutron 32 power chair with new batteries. The new batteries were charged when they were installed yesterday. But when I get ready to recharge them, do I just connect the charger to the power chair, plug it in, and turn it on? Do I have to flick a switch on the chair too? How do I know when the charge is complete?

Thanks wr.

I moved the thread for you to 'electrical' hope someone is familiar with this unit.

Have you called the customer service number for that company?

Yes. They replaced the batteries, but it's Saturday, they're closed, and I was at my computer! You have a good suggestion.

Thanks

Good luck--You are right --there might be an instruction book available on-line.
